ABOUT SIEGWERK

Siegwerk is one of the world's leading suppliers of printing inks and coatings for packaging applications and labels. As a family-owned company in its 7th generation, it has a long-standing tradition.

THE CHALLENGE

How did you learn about Boardwise?

"I first came across Boardwise at a hybrid assistants' conference. Through the platform, I got in touch with one of your colleagues. Even back then, I was interested in tools that could improve our meeting processes. Although the topic was not a top priority at the time, we stayed in contact for over two years. Last year, things became more concrete, and we finally decided to implement Boardwise."

What were the main problems you wanted to solve?

"Organization was very time-consuming. Topics came through various channels—email, phone, handwritten notes. It was difficult to keep track of everything. Additionally, I had to manually inform stakeholders of any changes, which was extremely time-consuming. I knew there had to be a better solution."

Why did you choose Boardwise?

"The integration with MS Teams was the key factor for us. We were already working with Teams, and Boardwise fit seamlessly into our workflow. The interface was intuitive, and collaborating with the team was straightforward and professional. Overall, the tool made the best impression on us."

THE SOLUTION

How has your work changed since the implementation?

"It’s incredible how much more efficient everything has become. I can create agendas directly in the system, move topics around, and times are calculated automatically. Everything—from agendas to meeting minutes—is stored centrally. This not only saves time but also provides much more clarity."

Were there any challenges during the implementation?

"In the beginning, it was a bit complex to familiarize ourselves with all the functions. Configuring the automated texts, in particular, was quite time-consuming. A more detailed implementation plan would have been helpful here. However, thanks to the support from Boardwise, we managed everything well."

"It has brought structure to our processes. Topics are now submitted in a standardized way, and everyone understands how the workflow operates. This not only saves me time but also instills more discipline in the organization. Additionally, we highly appreciate the transparency— all information is in one place, and everyone has access."

"There are many! The ability to quickly move topics and the automated circulars are fantastic. But the integrated search function and the easy updating of invitations also make the tool indispensable."
